To achieve happiness we may take some simple but important actions. All we need is to consider the existence of Allah the Most Holiness being, believe that our live will continue in the hereafter, get a clear picture of our life mission, and be decent to ourselves and other people.
The main concept is to train hard our feeling in order to acknowledge any life problems and manage the problem into an acceptable condition. Since happiness is related with human feeling or emotion that will be brought in to eternity, we need to have a strong and steady feeling that is useful to enrich the mind and body performing relieve and patient. By a constant training of meditation with the purpose to recall Allah, the Holy and Immaculate element of Allah will automatically guide our body, mind, and spirit to perform positive matters to come to peaceful state of happiness.
SET A CLEAR CONCEPT OF LIFE
The first concept is to set the mind into beliefs and trust on the existence of Allah and the life in hereafter.
Then, put a clear rationale on what is our mission in this world, which is to obey and worship Allah.
Next, build a broader thinking of beliefs with a deep inner knowing to include intuition and trust, that we are created by Allah, belong to Allah. Our destiny will be entirely depending on Allah.
The last is to involve listening and learning, that any occurrence or event appear to our life, whether it is a happiness or sadness, are come from Allah, our Creator.
FOCUS ON POSITIVE MANNER
Make an effort to perform good deeds, positive manner while at the same time release or minimize our negative thoughts, impulsive emotions.
FIND AN EXPERIENCED MEDITATION TEACHER
Nowadays we can easily find prominent and decent meditation guru around the country. We may find gurus who are mostly familiar with the meditation technique with the purpose to acquire blessing from the Most Holy and Creator. If possible, please find guru with a straight and clear descendant to the prophet Muhammad PBUH (a mursid teacher)
START MEDITATION TO CONSIDER ALLAH THE MOST CREATOR
The method of considering Allah can be achieved by breathing technique in a basic meditation or contemplation course. Initially, we have to set up a sitting position on the floor or chair. Then, perform a soft and light natural breathing by nose. Maintain a steady concentration toward the Most Holy Being. When we inhale and exhale the breath, it must be accompanied by silently saying a word “Subhanallah” that means Allah the Most Holy and the Most Immaculate (similar to chant, but we do not read it loudly, just saying it by heart).
PRACTICE DILIGENTLY
It should be performed at least five minutes a day and make it as a daily routine.
The purpose is to practice the tafakur – Islamic mediation everyday in a regular basis. If the course is practiced continuously every day, the smallest cells of body and the whole body will be driven, taught, trained, and built to consider Allah. Automatically, the holy and divine being of Allah will conduct our mind, soul and body to perform superior things that lead to survive in the world and hereafter.
Similar to an Olympic athlete who trained for many years to compete in an important event, we train our mind and soul to achieve patience and tranquility in order to encounter the time we return to eternity.
WATCH THE PROGRESS, FEEL THE DIFFERENCE
The most interesting progress, if not a surprise, is that we can tell the feeling of peacefulness and calmness after the first practice session. The sense of entering the word of Subhanallah to our breath, inhale and exhale normally, will soothe our mind and emotion. With a help from certified instructor or guru we will step in to a better life ahead.
